THE 2021 WEAVING IN THE SUNSHINE STATE BASKET WEAVING RETREAT IS CANCELLED.
This decision was not made lightly and without consideration to literally every possible alternative scenario. Unfortunately, it does not appear that COVID-19 is going anywhere soon and that a readily available vaccination is not going to be an option for the general population prior to the event dates. Some teachers have also expressed concern and the need for guaranteed class numbers in order to justify the travel expenses, and unfortunately, this simply is not possible.

As of November 28th, all Registration Fees and Vendor Fees have been processed for refund. Checks should arrive the first week of December. All Class Fee checks (and prepaid Class Kit checks) will be shredded.

Most every teacher has already prepared their class kits (and incurred that cost). I would love to suggest that you refer to the Class Kit Order Form (button above) and order kits from the teachers. This has been a very difficult year in loss of income for teachers and if we expect them to continue the weaving event circuit, they need your support. You may contact the teachers direct to order your kits or return the form to me and I will notify the teachers for you. They will then reach out to you to determine shipping costs and method of payment. Please DO NOT send me the checks for your kits. Note that some teachers may have a lead time of a couple of weeks on kits or they may have a limited supply.
