We're back for the 6th year at the Bell Tower Shops in Fort Myers, Florida. Recently renovated lodging rooms and a wonderful staff keep us returning year after year. Great rates are available and the hotel has graciously offered to extend your stay prior and post event for some extra vacation days.

Renovations are in the works as the Crowne Plaza transitions from an IHG property to the Hilton flag and upgrades to the Doubletree hotel standards. As of 11/2/2023, a new booking link has been provided below.

TRANSITION TO HILTON DOUBLETREE PROPERTY - COMPLETE
Our venue has recently upgraded from an IHG Crowne Plaza to a DoubleTree under the Hilton flag. While this is good news as renovations have taken place to many of the hotel's common areas, it is also a bit of a confusing time for making reservations. Please note this is NOT a venue change of location - simply a change from IHG to Hilton.
 
If you have already made your reservation, you do not need to do anything. Reservations made through the IHG website or by phone were automatically transfered to the Hilton system on December 19th. DO NOT MAKE A NEW RESERVATION.
 
If you have NOT made reservations yet, I recommend that you do so ASAP. The reserved block of rooms will be released for general booking on January 10, 2024. There is no guarantee of a room being available or obtaining the group rate after that date. Please use the updated booking link below for securing your room.
 
HOTEL INFORMATION:

A block of rooms is being held at the DoubleTree (formerly Crowne Plaza) at Bell Tower Shops in Ft. Myers, Florida (13051 Bell Tower Drive, Ft. Myers, Florida 33907). You must make your own hotel reservations. The room base rate is $239 per night. Rate is for either a king/sleeper or double/double room. Handicap accessible rooms available upon request.

Please Note: The block of rooms reserved for our event will be released on January 1, 2024 for general booking. There is no guarantee that there will be availability or that you will be able to receive this rate when booking after this date.

By phone: Call the DoubleTree at 239/482-2900 and ask for the BRIGHT EXPECTATIONS group rate.

By online booking: Please use this website booking link (www.hilton.com). Enter your arrival and departure dates. Click “Book”. The next page opened should have the correct discounted rate and provide options to select either a king bed or double queen bed room.

Southwest Florida International Airport / Ft. Myers (RSW) is located within 15-20 minutes of the hotel. Complimentary shuttle service is available by the Doubletree (contact them for more information). There are several airlines that fly into this airport - some of which are not always noted when booking through travel related websites (such as Frontier Airlines – www.flyfrontier.com). A listing of airlines that fly into this airport may be found at: www.flylcpa.com/airlines.

The Charlotte County Airport (PGD) in Punta Gorda is a little over 30 minutes from the event location. Airlines that fly into this airport include Allegiant Air (www.AllegiantAir.com) which normally has good fares. Check with your hotel for shuttle service or transport recommendations.

Other airports in the general area that may be convenient to use are Fort Lauderdale – Hollywood International Airport (FLL), Tampa International Airport (TPA), St. Pete – Clearwater International Airport (PIE), and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ). There are many shuttle and limo services in south Florida that provide transport to these airports also.
